GetHuman wanted diversify its product offerings and hoped to build a consumer application that was highly sticky. After exploring various ideas, the team decided to focus on Swish, a spending tracker that offers a simpler approach to personal finance than traditional budgeting apps.
I led the team to assess the market, validate user needs through interviews and landing page tests, and eventually design and build the product. My work included user research and interviews, funnel optimization, wireframes and prototyping, UI design, and front-end development.
Within 60 days of launching, Swish grew to over 2000 daily active users without a marketing budget. Over 35% of users who signed up linked multiple bank accounts, and over 25% continue to use the app 3 or more times per week.
